LFCC Gainful Employment Program Data

As of July 1, 2011, U.S. Department of Education regulations require institutions that participate in Title IV student financial aid to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV-eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment (GE) in a recognized occupation. This page provides links to all of the Title IV Gainful Employment Programs at LFCC that were offered during the 2013-14 financial aid year. Degree programs are not considered GE for community colleges, only certificate and career studies certificate programs that meet specific criteria.

For each program, information is presented using the U.S. Department of Education's official Gainful Employment Template.

While all of the GE programs at LFCC are designed so that a student could complete the requirements in the estimated number of semesters/months, it should be recognized that students choose to attend both full- and part-time and sometimes stop out to work and/or raise a family. There are also issues in the availability of courses, changing majors, transferring between institutions, and scheduling classes. While there are some students who are able to complete a program in the designed amount of months, many take longer.
